So Jordans new tasting menu has now been out for just over a week and has been fantastically well received so far, the wonderful guys from The Cocktail Lovers had this to say about it;

“Can’t fault the tasting menu in the attic at House of Wolf and the decor is very cool too”

The featured image on this particular blog post by the way is of the first course of the menu, the Sugar Roast Chicory, Asparagus with Truffle Custard. And the location is of simply our beautiful attic dining room.

Jordan Webb had a few words to say about his new menu and where he gets his cooking style from too;

“A lot of my inspiration and influence is anglo-franco, it’s quiet cross channel really. It’s what I was been taught as a kid and of course I wanted to make something nice, that is seasonal, for my second menu for House of Wolf.

With the world being a small place, it’s easy for us to get hold of ingredients but still try to work simply to bring out the very best in the core elements. This menu features some lighter dishes that are summery, we’re using some really nice oils and smoked paprika in the creme fresh to help keep a good balance on what otherwise might be heavy dish”

If you would like to see the whole menu please follow the Food tab on the menu bar or to make a dinner booking simply call us on 020 7288 1470 or email [email protected]

We are very proud to announce, and more than a little chuffed, to have been nominated for a Restaurant & Bar Design Award, in the Stand Alone Restaurant category.

We were also the only nominee who didn’t get an outside designer in, all of our decor and design was done in house by ourselves!

The awards are totally independent, the UK and International Restaurant & Bar Design Awards now in its fifth year and receives entries from the UK and world’s top architects, designers and hospitality operators.

Judges consist of the most influential personalities and have included the editors of Wallpaper and Frame magazines, Karim Rashid and Alberto Alessi.

This year’s Awards ceremony will be held at London’s Farmiloe Building on the 12th September.

Our experimental victorian drinking den and lab always wows new visitors to the House of Wolf. And once we’ve got you with that first sip of one of our beautifully made in house cocktails you’ll be a regular visitor.

Whether your hunkered up at the bar on a stool, reclining on one of the comfy chairs or stashed away with a couple of friends in the Fainting room there really aren’t many bar rooms like ours in London, not anymore anyway. And never fear our white lab coat wearing bartenders are always much more Jekyll than Hyde.

Like all of our spaces in House of Wolf the Apothecary is available for private hire from the small scale, you a few friends having your own table, to the big scale you and a big party of your nearest and dearest having the run of the Lab for a whole night of mixology goodness.
