House of Wolf is a multi-functional, multi-sensory pleasure palace, dedicated to the creative pursuits of dining, drinking, art and entertainment.
Spread over 3 floors, House of Wolf is homed within a beautiful Victorian building on the bustling Upper Street between Angel and Highbury & Islington tube stations.
The Attic
The Attic Dining room is the very essence of decadence. With views up into the vaulted beams, jaw dropping lighting from Emerald Faerie and deep buttoned velvet banquets accented by recylcled Emeco chairs, it’s the perfect setting to enjoy the creative delights of our guest chefs or intimate late night conversation.
The Apothecary
The Apothecary is the hub of House of Wolf’s experimental cocktail creativity. Inside, bar manager Stephen Quainton and his team, prescribe a mind blowing array of weird and wonderful drinks.
The Parlour
The Parlour is a dining room with a difference. The grand banquet table, geometric flooring and handpainted metallic walls are a homage to steam punk Victorian opulence.
The Music Hall
The Music Hall is home to House of Wolf’s live stage, where you can expect to see all manner of high (and low) brow entertainment. House of Wolf’s home, 181 Upper Street, is listed as one of the first music halls in London, with parts of the structure dating back to 1838. With a nod to its heritage, the Music Hall houses a fantastic programme of creative events throughout the week for discerning adults with an appetite for inspiration and ingenuity. From literary salons and creative workshops to high profile music-led club nights, fun-filled ‘get-on-down’ parties and weekly cabaret and burlesque showcases.
The Fainting Room
Hidden within the House of Wolf somewhere inside the walls, you will find the fainting room, a secret snug used for the treatment of hysteria. Perfect for a bijouis gathering of friends, inside you can let your inhibitions go, in this totally private space.
